But as I woke up it was now crunch time as we packed up and had to be at the Sheraton hotel checked in for the Super Regional Combine at noon. I was fatigued from my wedding and having already put up good numbers at both the regional combine and pro day, I had a tough decision to make. Skip out on certain drills/tests, do everything, or not go at all? If I put up a bad number today because of my fatigue, I would ruin all the work I had done from the regional and pro day. Well I didn't actually make the decision until the day of when the competitive side of me took over and I decided to go for it all. We started out with the 40 and the continued on to the position drills, which was a different order than normal. I performed great in both putting up a 4.35/4.41 as reported by an NFL scout and made crisp cuts in my drills. But myself and the rest of the players were worn out after the drills they put us through, which is why it is usually last. We continued on to the rest of the testing, where I performed well but could have done better. I was happy with the results, but knew I could have done better as my body was far from rested. Having been through combine style testing now in the regional combine, pro day, and super regional combine hopefully I have proven my work ethic and consistency as it was no easy task! It was a great experience and I hope to have shown a little of what I will bring to the table for a NFL team.
